Marathon Drafting works hard to make sure clients are deeply satisfied. For 30 succesful years my father ran his own business, Marathon Seat Covers, with a high level of commitment to his customers. Because of this example, I know the importance of good communication, honesty and hard work. So that explains the name: Marathon. How about myself?
I have always been very intrigued by building and construction and how things “go together.” This perhaps explains why I enjoy drafting so much, especially 3D modeling. I began my drafting career by working for a design firm in Bozeman, Montana. I enjoyed the fast-paced learning and became familiar with residential construction. In December 2004, a commercial design-build firm in Las Vegas then sought me out. I was told I’d learn Revit. I jumped at the chance.
I believe Revit (BIM) is the future of drafting. Autodesk has reported a rising demand for Revit software and in turn the industry has demanded Revit drafters. While I will draft in Autocad, I prefer to use Revit. It saves me time and you money. I believe in it. It’s fun.
